Every month, the East Valley JCC focuses on an organization to benefit from the generosity of our families for the mitzvah project. We gather gently used items for children in foster care, make cards for soldiers overseas, and collect food for people who are hungry. But mitzvot (acts of kindness and charity) donât have to be big; even a smile or helping hand can be a mitzvah that makes someone happy.
For December, we will be playing a game of Mitzvah Bingo! See if you can complete all of the mitzvah boxes. When you complete a mitzvah, you can mark the box as done with a sticker or an âXâ. When you fill all of the mitzvah boxes, write you name on the game sheet, bring it back to the front desk at the JCC, and we will proudly display your completed page!
