Meaningful Jewish experiences for Jewish teens

BBYO’s pluralistic movement of Jewish teens, alumni, parents, volunteers and philanthropists serves as the Jewish community’s most valuable platform for the post- bar/bat mitzvah audience. Teens can participate in fun, meaningful and affordable experiences that inspire a lasting connection to the Jewish people.

BBYO chapters Tovah BBG and Rabbi Meir Reznikoff AZA  meet 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the East Valley JCC during the school year.

Inclusivity

BBYO offers safe and welcoming opportunities for learning and growth to all Jewish teens regardless of background, denominational affiliation, gender, sexual orientation or socio-economic status, including those with a range of intellectual, emotional, and physical abilities.

Jewish Identity

BBYO encourages Jewish teens to find meaning in Judaism and to develop their own Jewish identities. Committed to a pluralistic experience, BBYO attempts to accommodate and provide a comfortable environment across the halachic (Jewish law) spectrum.

Active Leadership

BBYO’s international leadership model, AZA and BBG, prides itself on fun and meaningful teen-led programming, its responsibility to the global Jewish community, an unwavering commitment to the State of Israel, and its dedication to tikkun olam – repairing the world.

Tradition

BBYO’s stakeholders define the organization and are the stewards of its brand. They must act in a way that represents and celebrates BBYO’s rich history and tradition.

BBYO Passport

BBYO Passport is the leading provider of travel experiences for Jewish high school and middle school teens. Passport programs span destinations on five continents and combine elements of active touring, community service, and meaningful Jewish experiences.

Summer Experiences

At summer camps, on college campuses, and in countries around the world, leading, learning, serving communities, and experiencing Judaism all add up to unforgettable and life-changing summers.

College Readiness

When it is time to apply for college, BBYO is in contact with top college admissions officers to share how BBYO alumni make stellar students on campus. During the campus exploration process, BBYO alumni and Community Engagement Fellows on campus are available to answer questions and give campus tours.
