The East Valley JCC will be offering most of its community programs for free beginning in January 2023.Â
âWith so many people facing financial challenges, we want to remove any barriers that may prevent them from attending community programs whether in person or online,â said Rabbi Michael Beyo, EVJCC CEO.
These programs include:
- Open Beit Midrash, a weekly adult education series
- Tuesdays at the J, a weekly arts & culture series that features guest speakers
- Generations After, a monthly Holocaust education program
- 100 Jewish Artists, a six-week virtual series presented by Jewish Arts Education
- The Israeli Film Series, a monthly virtual screening of Israeli films
- JBox kosher meal delivery for residents of the East Valley
- JBox Food Pantry, which provides free groceries available to all
- J in the Community events in local parks
- Lectures, exhibits, panel discussions and more.Â

Donations at evjcc.org/support are appreciated from those who are able. There are still fees for the Early Learning Center and Camp Rimon, although scholarships are available for those in need. Â
