Have you ever considered why we are here and the purpose of life? This presentation will address these questions from a Baha’i perspective. The Schlesingers will discuss the nature of the soul, our relationship to other Spiritual Beings, how we develop our spiritual nature, and some aspects of what happens when we leave this earthly plane.
About the speakers
David and Peggy Schlesinger have been married for 45 years and have been Baha’is even longer. David was born into a Baha’i family while Peggy became a Baha’i in her teenage years. They both have master’s degrees in business and retired from Intel Corporation. They met at the Baha’i House of Worship in Wilmette, Ill.. They have been active in the Chandler Baha’i Community for over 30 years in children’s classes, community support and administrative functions. They are also involved in several Interfaith and nonprofit organizations, especially related to Human Rights. Peggy chairs the annual Walk4Unity: UN Human Rights Day in Chandler held in December
