Save the Stories

Three workshops presented by  Daughters of Jacob Genealogy

Mondays, Oct. 16-30 | 10-11 a.m.

Family stories and bits of generational wisdom help make us who we are.
Expand your family’s memory, present and future, by preserving and sharing what you know.

Join us for three engaging workshops during which you will identify your own key stories and sayings, choose a few to document, and then preserve them in a sharable format of your own choice. Come inspire and be inspired with us!

The series will be held at the East Valley JCC, 908 N. Alma School Road, Chandler.

There is no cost to attend; registration is required.

About the instructors

Daughters of Jacob Genealogy, started by sisters Elizabeth Lee and Lorrie Niebur, combines family photos and stories with their expertise in genealogical and historical-cultural-image research to create heirloom books.

Elizabeth Lee earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in political science and continued on to graduate studies. She loves everything to do with history and maps, and she makes very beautiful family history books.

Lorrie Niebur has an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. She has published both quantitative and qualitative research. She loves tracking down the information that turns family mysteries into family histories.

There is no charge to attend this program, though donations are appreciated to help support educational and holiday programming at the East Valley JCC.
