Israeli Film Series: Unsettling

A pop-up film studio becomes a social laboratory for encounters with camera-shy (but not conflict-averse) Israeli settlers in the West Bank in this documentary by Iris Zaki.

The film will be available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23.  

There is no charge to view the film but those who make a donation of $10 or more are invited to attend a Q&A at  3 p.m. with Jake Bennett, Israeli-American Coalition for Action director of state legislative affairs.

About Jake Bennett

Jake Bennett is director of State Legislative Affairs for IAC for Action, the government affairs partner organization to the Israeli-American Council. Jake advocates to policymakers nationwide on behalf of the Israeli-American and pro-Israel communities, ensuring their voices are heard on a range of issues at the federal, state and local levels.

Jake is a combat veteran of IDF special forces, where he served from 1999-2001, during the Second Intifada. Jake is the past President of Phoenix’ pro-Israel PAC; co-chair of the Israel & Overseas Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix; a past member of AIPAC’s Arizona Council; and a former Arizona Regional Director for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). 

Jake got his B.A. from Amherst College and his MBA from Columbia University. Prior to becoming a full-time professional in Jewish communal life, Jake spent 13 years in investment management and running his own company. Jake grew up in New Jersey and lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and 2 kids.
