 Take a virtual journey across some of the most interesting and off-the-beaten path Jewish communities on four different continents to learn about Jewish life and history in such fascinating places as Shanghai, Alaska, Ukraine, Thailand, India, Hong Kong and Barbados. This presentation will explore the survival and resilience of Jewish life in places you might least expect to find it.

There is no charge to attend the presentation but a tax-deductible donation to JBox, a program that helps provide kosher meals to individuals and families in the East Valley, is appreciated. If you are able to donate at this time, the form is toward the bottom of the page.

About the presenter

Dan Fellner is a seven-time Fulbright fellow, travel writer and faculty associate at Arizona State University. He has visited approximately 125 countries, is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and the American Society of Journalists and Authors. He has taught at universities in Latvia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Moldova, North Macedonia and Indonesia.
