Our established Rimon Katan program is thoroughly planned to accommodate small, age appropriate groups.

Rimon Katan campers enjoy a safe, caring, stimulating environment with a new theme each week–allowing campers to enroll in multiple weeks, if not for the entire summer.

Their experiences are as diverse as their growing interests!

Campers’ days start with a camp-wide welcome, camp songs, and continue with big smiles from playing games, making art, music, sensory play, scientific discovery, cooking, and exciting weekly themes.

Your child will be engaged in developmentally appropriate activities in our NAEYC Accredited program and cared for by our expert staff.

Our J recognizes quality programming and is committed to making you and your camper feel completely comfortable.

Rimon Katan Field Trips

All 3-year old and 4-year old campers will partake in field trips over the summer.

Once a week there will be an additional field trip to the Chandler Library for the 4-year old campers.

Rimon Katan Water Play

The 2-year old groups will have water play at the EVJCC twice a week.

The 3-year old groups will have water play at a local area splash pad.

Our pre-K campers will go off site to Escalante Pool in Tempe twice a week for free swim with trained lifeguards and our EVJCC staff.

Campers will also receive a T-shirt to show their Camp Spirit!

For more information or to register, please contact the Camp office at (480) 897-0588 or email

The EVJCC personnel have received training in security and safety measures for scenarios including possible medical issues and the oversight of children and adults who are under our care and supervision. Our vigilance is demonstrated with a 40-year plus safe school environment.  Read more about our safety policies and procedures.
