Bake at Home with Chef Melinda
Sweet and Savory Bourekas

Here’s how it works:
1. Pick up a box of all the ingredients you need to make delicious boureka appetizers (serves 4).
2. Join Melinda on Zoom as she demonstrates how to make the bourkeas.
3. Follow along in your kitchen.
4. Enjoy your fresh bourkeas.
Order your box by Monday, Oct. 25 and pick it up between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27. Cost is $15/box.
The EVJCC kitchen is under the kosher supervision of Rabbi Michael Beyo.
About Chef Melinda
Chef Melinda McNeil honed her skills as a chef and baker at the Scottsdale Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School and has worked at the Phoenician Resort, Simply Bread bakery and the Olive & Ivy restaurant. She has baked challah and other baked goods at the East Valley JCC’s Challah Factory since fall 2016.
She also teaches two virtual cooking demonstrations at the EVJCC, In the Kitchen with Chef Melinda and Little Chefs.
