In Kind Donation
Many donors are drawn to giving in-kind donations rather than money and ensuring that specific items reach members in their own community.
Many are interested in giving their time doing things such as mentoring, bookkeeping, or helping to organize events or items within our facility.
In-kind gifts are contributions of goods or services, other than cash grants.
Examples of in-kind gifts include:
Goods, like computers, software, furniture, and office equipment, for use by the EVJCC
Services, like print services, photocopy and mail services, and other administrative support
Expertise, like legal, tax, or business advice
Cash equivalents, like stocks, bonds, and mutual funds
Please note, in-kind gifts must be accounted for differently than cash for tax purposes, so be sure to consult a tax expert.
