Tuesdays at the J

Authentic Aging
Two sessions with Eileen Landau, creator of the Authentic Aging program
Tuesday, Jan. 20 | 10-11:30 a.m.
In this program, Eileen Bell Landau, creator of Authentic Aging and author of the forthcoming book Authentic Aging: Your Workbook for Life, explores two practical ways women gain clarity and steadiness as they age.
Masks
Many women carry roles that once served them well but now operate automatically. Through focused questions and examples, participants look at which masks they still wear, which ones are no longer useful, and how to recognize the difference. This section is reflective, grounded, and non-performative.
When Journaling Isn’t Journaling
This segment introduces a simple neuro-rewiring exercise rather than traditional written journaling. Participants draw with their non-dominant hand, round intersecting lines, and add color. The process engages different neural pathways, often producing calm and clarity without analysis or storytelling. No writing and no artistic skill are required.
Participants leave with a concrete tool they can use anytime they feel mentally cluttered or overstimulated.
This is a quiet, structured program focused on clarity, self-regulation, and practical insight. No sharing is required.
Tuesdays at the J starts at 10 a.m. with conversation and refreshments; the presentation starts at 10:30 a.m. Free with registration.
