Mahjong Mondays
Come play Mahjong!
Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, calculations and a degree of chance!
Games are held 1:30-3:30 p.m. Mondays and are open to experienced players or those who have taken lessons at the EVJCC. All games played here follow the rules and style of American Mahjong. Registration is required.
There is no cost to participate. Be sure to bring your current Mahjong card if you have one. Cards should be purchased from the National Mahjong League.

Mahjong lessons
A series of lessons for beginners are often held throughout the year, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Mondays. Lessons are limited to eight people.

Order your Mahjong card through the East Valley JCC, which helps support EVJCC programming. Order by Feb. 4, 2026.
Your card will be mailed directly to you during the last week in March 2026, which is the first mailing. The EVJCC is a nonprofit organization registered with the National Mah Jongg League and receives money back on each card through the EVJCC at no additional charge to you.
Ways to order
Option 1. Download the order form, fill it out and mail to the EVJCC with a check made out to the East Valley JCC or drop it off at the EVJCC with a check or cash payment. The mailing address is East Valley JCC, 908 N. Alma School Road, Chandler, AZ 85224. Hard copies of the form are also available at the EVJCC.
Option 2. Fill out the online form and then bring your check or cash payment to the EVJCC and let them know you filled out the online form.
Option 3. Pay online with a credit card, which includes an additional processing fee.
