Sweets and Klezmer Music for the New Year

Featuring live music from Odessa

Enjoy an evening featuring live music by Odessa, wine, and delicious nosh and desserts by Chef Melinda.

Cost is $15. Register by Friday, Sept. 16 at noon.

The event will be held at the East Valley JCC, 908 N. Alma School Road, Chandler.

About Odessa

Odessa has been performing around the Valley for over 10 years as an evolving mix of local Klezmer musicians.

The group was named after the city Odessa in the Ukraine, a hotspot of Klezmer music for centuries and birthplace of the grandparents of the band’s founder, Stu Siefer. We hope you enjoy Odessa’s interpretation of this Jewish “soul music,” including its intersection with Yiddish theater music and jazz.
