About Yonina

“Yonina” (a combination of the performers’ names -Yoni and Nina Tokayer) are an Israeli-American musical duo who first started sharing their music through weekly home videos posted to social media. Since they first began posting their videos in 2016, their music has reached millions of viewers, with the record being their cover of “One Day,” which had over 40 million views from around the globe.

In September of 2017, they released their debut  album, “Emet Pshuta” (Simple Truth), with original hit songs like “Ahava”, “Rega Mechuvan”, “Seriously” and “Shir Shel Boker.” For the past three years, they’ve been performing throughout Israel, the U.S. and Europe, in both large-scale concerts and private events. Currently, they are working on their second album and continue to write and record music, perform and produce music videos.

The couple lives in the rural city of Pardes Chana in Northern Israel with their two children, who make guest appearances in their videos.

East Valley JCC Emergency Fund

This past spring, the East Valley JCC set up an Emergency Fund to help supply groceries, household goods and financial support for those experiencing financial hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We thank the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix and the Jewish Community Foundation for their assistance in these efforts. We continue to strive to help those in need. If you are able to make a donation, please do so below.

Thank you to Alan and Carole Zeichick for helping make this event possible and to our community partners.
