Leaders in Training (L.I.T.)

Camp Counselor in Training Program

For campers entering 10th-12th grades, our L.I.T.s serve as leaders in our camp community and have opportunities to earn volunteer hours for school both in and outside the J. Our L.I.T.s are trained in how to work with our younger campers, will lead & create camp programming, can earn CPR & First Aid certification* and participate in community service projects in the Valley. They will also have the opportunity to explore the Valley and beyond through exciting field trips.

Cost: $250/child for the whole summer.

An interview process is required to be accepted into the L.I.T.  program.
Contact Sam, sam@evjcc.org, for more registration information.

L.I.T. participants, while learning and accepting new leadership roles, are still campers in Rimon Gadol.

This program gives high school age kids in grades 10, 11 and 12 an opportunity to begin the path towards becoming future staff and counselors for our camp.

L.I.T. will demonstrate practical experience in working with kids, but will never serve as sole supervisors of kids, and must be accompanied by a trained counselor when helping with a program.
