Presenter: Barbara Mark-Dreyfuss, author of “Legacy: An Ethical Will Through Life Stories”
10-10:30 a.m. coffee and conversation

Instead of bequeathing a series of values and suggestions through a traditional ethical will to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Barbara Mark-Dreyfuss shares her life stories, feelings, observations and meaningful experiences with them in her book, “Legacy: An Ethical Will Through Life Stories.” “Some experiences have enriched my life and some have presented me with challenges to encourage my growth,” she says. “I hope that by sharing those events and their lessons with my family and my readers, I can connect with them in ways that will bring them support, hope and courage to believe in themselves.”
Barbara Mark-Dreyfuss is an author, poet and artist. Her other books include “Renewal of Body, Renewal of Spirit: A Guide to Health, Hope and Healing,” “America at Last: A Family’s Voyage from Fear to Freedom” and “Remember Always: Spiritual Poetry.” She is a member of Congregation Or Tzion, Temple Chai, Brandeis and AIPAC and is a board member of the Anti-Defamation League and a life member of Hadassah. She raised her three children in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and they now live in various parts of the world with their spouses and her 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Barbara moved from Los Angeles to establish her home in Scottsdale in 1994. When she has spare time, when not visiting her children, she spends it playing bridge, traveling, reading, cooking and writing.
