“Maccabees, Miracles and Dark Days: The Many Stories of Chanukah”

In this special Holiday at the J session, Rabbi Herschel “Brodie” Alberson,” spiritual leader of Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley, Herschel “Brodie” Aberson will discuss Chanukah.

When he is not leading services or teaching, Rabbi Brodie enjoys spending time with his cats Genevive and Tanith, or finding new board and role playing games to learn and play with friends and congregants.

Nov. 9: Museum at the J: “Intrigue and Omission: Tales from the 18th Century” presented by Phoenix Art Museum docent Sarah Bodney

Nov. 16: “Bridge Generation: Preserving Your Family’s Story,” exploring the benefits and challenges of preserving your family history, presented by Daughters of Jacob Genealogy
