Dedication & Open House

The dedication for our new JCC has been rescheduled for December 4, 2005. Kari Lake from Fox News will emcee the event which will begin at 1 p.m. in front of the new Center. Community rabbis and local dignitaries will be in attendance to help celebrate this community milestone. This occasion will also be a wonderful opportunity to meet the new JCC Executive Director, Steve Tepper.

Mitzvah Day

Mitzvah Day, November 13th, is an opportunity to volunteer our time to helping others. This is the 9th Annual Mitzvah Day and we will have a number of projects supported through the JCC. There is a community toy drive, where new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the East Valley JCC for donation by November 13th.

The JCC project, in conjunction with the Miriam Group of Hadassah, will spend the afternoon of November 13th at Desert Cove Nursing Center, making beaded necklaces, sharing a snack and singing songs. This activity is for children ages 3-11 with a parent. If you are interested in participating, please contact Pam Morris at 480-897-0588 or pam@evjcc.org.
