Planning Committee Update
By now, everyone should know that August 31, 2001 will mark the end of our 17 year stay at our current location which we lease from the Tempe elementary School District. Our hard working planning committee meets weekly to discuss the relocation of our Center and investigate all leads which could result in a new "home" for the JCC.
The JCC Board of Managers has made a unanimous commitment to provide the seed money for a relocation fund. The proceeds from this fund will be used to cover the cost of moving, build-out of a new facility, permits, architect's fees, etc. This is the time when JCC members can stand up and be counted among those who support the continued presence of our JCC in the Southeast valley.
Tribute contributions can now be designated to the general fund which benefits the on-going programs at the JCC or the relocation fund which will be directed to the costs incurred for the restricted fund which will address our impending move.
A beautiful tribute card will be sent from the JCC commemorating various simchas i.e. new home, birthday, new baby anniversary, job promotion, graduation thank yous etc. or in honor or memory of someone. Tribute opportunities start at only $5.00. Call or stop by the office for more information.
