Openings in our 2,3,4 year old and kindergarten classes will be filled on a first-come, first served basis. Early registration offers the best opportunity to secure the school schedule of your choice. Call Cynthia or Diane at 480-897-0588 for additional information. What's New?
Beginning with the 2003-04 school year, program hours for all half-day classes have been increased by one half-hour daily. Formerly a 9-11:30 a.m. schedule, morning programs for twos, threes and fours will run from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. This will allow more time for teachers to implement curriculum and work on socialization and readiness skills. With funds raised at our November garage sale we have ordered a new piece of playground equipment; a Bridge and Tunnel Clubhouse Climber, appropriate for children aged 2-8. Look for it on our playground in 4-6 weeks.
Second Toddler Room in the Works
Work has commenced on the development of a second Toddler Room for our Centercare program. Thus far, the infrastructure work of bringing a water line into the room, hooking up to a sink with a changing area, and placement of storage units has been completed. Our next step is to set up the room with toys, manipulatives, cots, tables and chairs, a refrigerator, etc., and apply for licensing from the Department of Health Services. This addition will make room for additional toddlers and will allow us to divide our toddlers into more developmentally appropriate age groupings.
We welcome any donations of toddler age toys, puzzles, books, a microwave oven and refrigerator.
