Through services and programs the Barness Family East Valley Jewish Community Center promotes and strengthens Jewish values and identity by meeting the needs of individuals and families of all races, religions, and cultures.
The Barness Family East Valley JCC is a non-profit organization that has been serving the east valley Jewish community since 1972. It is a membership-supported organization that provides the local community - family and individual members- with childcare, educational, social, recreational and other cultural needs. The JCC offers many programs, activities and services for everyone - from infants to seniors and is open to the entire community.
Today's JCC is not just for the rich or the poor, the young or the old; it's for everybody! Preschoolers come to learn and play, and senior citizens come for warm companionship and the excitement of learning something new. Those in between come to strengthen their bodies and stretch their minds in a comfortable atmosphere where all feel at home. The JCC is for all people of all faiths, races, ages, abilities and incomes.

Something for Everyone
The Barness Family East Valley JCC offers programs and activities for everyone in your family—from 6 weeks to 96 years, singles and couples, men and women.
Our Infant/Toddler Program, Early Childhood Education Program, JCC Day School, and the Summer Day Camp program, provide quality education and childcare to children from 6 weeks to 12 years. The Barness Family East Valley JCC’s Early Childhood Education Center is open to both Jewish and non-Jewish families. It is the only Jewish pre-school in the East Valley that is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. In addition, we offer clubs, special events, activities and classes for seniors, adults, youth and families.
From book clubs to playgroups, compelling lecture series to festive parties, camp to enrichment classes, the Barness Family East Valley JCC has something for everyone. Please see detailed descriptions of our many Programs and take a look at the Calendar of Events for upcoming activities.
